A Downton Development Authority (DDA) is a development agency responsible for many improvements including revitalization and redevelopment in the downtown area.  The Hahira DDA was created in 2016 and consists of seven board members.

Facade Grant

Annual Amnesty Day

This annual event is for City of Hahira Utility Customers Only.  Participants MUST show current utility bill to enter on the day of the event - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Only the following items will be accepted during this event:

• Household Paints (Latex and Oil)
• Bleaches & Chlorine (including Pool Chemicals)
• Fluorescent Bulbs
• Automotive Batteries
• Motor Oil/Transmission Fluid/Antifreeze
• Paint Thinners
• Wood Strippers
• Pesticides & Herbicides
• Propane & Butane Tanks
• Electronics

Call 833-748-5733 anytime day or night!  Hear real-time balances, payment amounts and due date - use any credit or debit card! Note there is a $1.25 fee charged by our payment processing compnay to use Pay by Phone or Text. 

Please also be aware then when utility bills post to the account, e-mails are auto-generated to notify you of a new bill if you have an e-mail address on file.  It is not spam, the e-mails are generated by the software we use.  Another great feature now provided!

ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS 

The City of Hahira is proud to offer online account access.  To sign up for this service, you will need your account number and the last payment amount, which is only needed ONE TIME for verification.  Once you create your own personal login, you no longer need to enter this information for account access.  You will be able to view your payment amount, view your usage, make payments / schedule payments ahead of time, and so much more.  There is no fee to access your account; however, there is a fee of $1.25 to make a payment using this sytem.  Once you create your account, you can go back in using your login credentials anytime day or night and retrieve your account balance and other details.  Be sure to save the login page for easy access in the future.  
***PLEASE NOTE:  When using this program, making a "payment arrangement" does not prevent your services from being disconnected in the event your payment is past due.  This simply sets a payment up in the program to draft on a specific date!***
